Over dinner conversation with friends tonight I learned of the Great Molasses Flood of 1919. The horror...the sweet, sticky horror. Seriously, 21 dead.(See here, if you don't believe the first link.)
Since it's called the "Great" Molasses Flood, does this imply there have been lesser molasses floods?
